Leadership

  • Bill is the Chairman and principal owner of the Shipley Group, a multi-generational energy sales and service company, and of York Professional Baseball Club, owners and operators of the York Revolution. Bill is also an owner of Carousel Hospitality, which he also chairs. Bill serves on the executive committee of the Atlantic League, is a past trustee of Penn State University, and has served in numerous industry and local civic leadership roles.

  • Jon has been involved in minor league baseball for nearly 35 years as an operator, consultant, and owner of multiple minor league teams including three affiliates of the Baltimore Orioles and five Atlantic League teams, most in the mid-Atlantic region.  Jon’s company, Opening Day Partners (ODP), co-developed and designed the ballparks in which ODP teams play, created iconic community brands, and launched ancillary companies specializing in facilities management and food services.

  • Eric is the President of York Professional Baseball, entering his 13th season in that role in 2023. Eric is also an owner of Carousel Hospitality. He is a leader in the York civic community including chairing Better York, York’s CEO leadership organization. He also serves on the board of Traditions Bank, a community bank headquartered in York.

  • Rob has over 18 years of experience in the contract food and beverage industry. Rob has successfully managed over $20,000,000 in annual revenue as regional manager with a large concessionaire working with many teams in minor league baseball.  He has also managed F&B for teams in the NFL, NHL, and at concert venues throughout the Northeast. Rob created a local food service company anchored by its partnership with the York Revolution and including other partners in the York community.

  • Bill has spent over 40 years in the financial services industry in both executive and board positions. He was CEO of publicly traded and privately held corporations including Citizens Republic Bancorp in Flint, MI, and First Security corporation of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. He also served as CEO of a Not-for-Profit Corporation, York County Community Foundation, in York, Pa.

    Bill has extensive community service experience serving on dozens of boards including Universities, Social Service Agencies, Economic Development Agencies, and The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Bill enjoys his local community board work which currently includes the United Way of York County, Rotary Club of York, and the International Wine and Food Society of York. Bill is part owner of the York Revolution.
